Omanhene of New Juaben Traditional Area Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III has requested Churches in the traditional area to support him fulfil his vision of establishing rural bank and girls school.
He believes the bank will help support traders and small scale enterprises to facilitate economic growth and job Creation whilst the Girl School will promote girl child.
He said this when he and some sub-chiefs joined Methodist Church in Koforidua to fellowship during the 31st Night service to cross over to 2023.
Daasebre reaffirmed his faith in God and entreated all to believe in God and remain under His feat.
The MP for New Juaben South Michael Okyere Baafi who was present with some constituency executives said the new Koforidua development agenda is on course that,many things are being done to develop Koforidua.
The MP however expressed worry over increasing teenage prostitution cases and establishment of brothels in Koforidua hence urged parents to help curb the menace.
The Bishop of the Koforidua Diocese of the Methodist Church Ghana, Rt Rev. Dr Emmanuel Asare-Kusi commended Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III for recognizing the God factor in his reign.
He assured christians to have faith in God that he will do exceedingly good things in 2023.
