Two staunch members of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Koforidua Kassim Mohammed popularly known as ‘Hagla’ and a branch organizer Yussif Moro who are seriously ill have received support from the party.
New Juaben South NDC Constituency Executives condition.
New Juaben South constituency chairman Selassie Amuzu accompanied by other Constituency executives donated a cash amount of Ghc 3,300 to Kassim Mohammed popularly known as ‘Hagla’ and Ghc 500 to Yussif Moro.
The amount was contribution by the chairman Selassie Amuzu, Doctor Ani Nathan Co-opted Member, Ahmed Tijani Constituency organizer and Shaibu Konatey deputy communication officer to the two members of the party.
In an interview after the donation, the Constituency Chairman Selassie Amuzu called on the party leadership to take keen interest in the welfare of the branch and grassroot members who have sacrificed to contribute to the party this he believes will encourage others to join and support the party.
He said ” we are ready to take off this inept and corrupt NPP government so we are ready to help our members to be physically fit to come back and vote for the party in 2024 general election.”
“Our brother ‘Hagla’ has followed and sacrifice for the party since 1992 but looking at his condition now I will urged all love ones to come to their aid and support them, even though we donated Ghc 3,300 to him today but this cannot cater for everything so we still need your support to help him”
“We also went to Ada-Magazine branch and our brother who is battling from eye problem was also given an amount of Ghc 500 to assist his condition so all should come and support us to accomplish our mission to support the branches because the foundation of the party is the branch level” Selassie Amuzu explained in an interview.
Family members of the two beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the executives.
