Three state institutions including the Ghana Statistical Service, the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), and the Office of the District Assemblies Common Fund Administrator have been programmed to appear before the parliament today Tuesday, June 22, 2021.
According to a business statement delivered by Hon Afenyo Markin, the aforesaid institutions have been called before Parliament to respond to issues concerning the formulae and the expenditure of the National Health Insurance Fund for the year 2021.
“They are to brief the house on relevant issues regarding the formulae and the disbursement of the National Health Insurance Fund.
“The briefings are predictable from the Ghana Statistical Service, the National Health Insurance Authority, and the Office of the District Assemblies Common Fund Administrator.
