President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu
Nigerian President and ECOWAS Chairman Bola Tinubu has said the West African regional bloc has secured the support of the Economic Community of the Central African States (ECCAS) in its efforts to overturn Niger’s coup and restore constitutional order in the country.
“I understand the fear of our people on any form of military action”.
“We are working to keep the sanctions in place, and we are following them to the latter,” President Tinubu said.
