The National Lottery Authority through the Good Causes Foundation seeks to impact communities across the country positively by giving back and making lasting impact in national development.
The Foundation commissioned a smart lab for the Senior Correctional Centre at Dzorwulu.
The smart lab is equipped with 50 tablets, a projector and one laptop per teacher.
The idea of a smart lab seeks to expose the young inmates to learning skills needed in the world of work like coding and accomplishing goals which will help them re-integrate into the society when they are released.
This project also falls in line with meeting the Sustainable Development Goals by ensuring an inclusive and equitable quality education and promote learning opportunities for all.
