The Electoral Commission (EC) has decided to keep the original order of presidential candidates on the 2024 ballot, despite Philip Appiah Kubi’s disqualification from the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) .
The EC Chairperson’s announcement at today’s IPAC gathering signifies a major step forward in readying the nation for the upcoming elections.
The Electoral Commission, led by Jean Mensa, reaffirmed its dedication to a timely and efficient process, unaffected by the GFP candidate’s disqualification.
Jean Mensa informed party reps that presidential ballot printing is nearly done, with 90% already completed, showcasing the Commission’s commitment to timely delivery.
Election preparations are proceeding as planned, with all materials expected to be ready ahead of schedule.
She stated, “This morning, we are here to inform you of the Commission’s decision to maintain the presidential ballot as it is. As you may be aware since you have representatives in the printing houses, we are almost 90 percent complete with the printing of presidential ballots.”
