The Akuapem Traditional Council says there will be no durbar for the climax of this year’s Odwira festival due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
A statement signed by Aburihene also the Adontenhene of Okuapeman Otobuor Djan Kwasi said the decision not to hold durbar complies with Covid-19 preventive protocols.
This year’s Odwira which has commenced is on the theme “Smart and Safe Okuapeman” will end on Sunday.
Hosts of activities have been lined up to mark the festival.
The activities include a virtual coding lesson today Monday and on Tuesday donates face masks, hand Sanitizers among others to schools.
The festival will be climaxed with Thanksgiving Service at Church under the leadership of Okuapehene Oseadeyo Kwasi Akufo IV.
