More than 100 shops have been destroyed in the Cantamanto market area due to a fire outbreak that occurred around 1:00 AM on Thursday.
The Ghana National Fire Service reported that they dispatched 13 fire trucks across Accra to combat the early morning blaze, which was located near the Ghana Commercial Bank.
Fortunately, there have been no reported loss of life.
Fire officers on the scene stated that they had managed to bring the fire under control.
