Founder and leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) Kofi Akpaloo has said that he will not permit police officials to take bribes if he wins the 2020 presidential election to become president.
Speaking on Accra Based-TV station, Mr Akpaloo indicated that the Ghana police service needs some level of order for their job to be done accurately.
He opined that it is about time police officials stop taking bribes because it doesn’t speak well of them.
“No police official will have the audacity to be taking bribes during my term in office because I will sack corrupt police officials if they are found,” he said.
Kofi Akpaloo ended that the topmost hierarchy of the Police Service must be held liable for corruption in the Service.
