The NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Bia West, Bernard Blay has accepted defeat ahead of the election declaration.
He has congratulated his opponent whom he believes has won for the constituency even though the Electoral Commission has not officially released the result.
“I wish to congratulate my opponent for winning even though the results are not out yet, we had our coalition centers which proves that we have lost the seat”, he said.
According to him, positions don’t matter in the constituency, the people should all come together to improve the constituency and implement developmental policies to help the constituency grow.
“It doesn’t matter the position you have, we should forget our differences and work hard, the election is over so let’s concentrate on what’s ahead”, he added.
He added that even though he has lost, he is very proud of the outcome because he didn’t expect to even win that number.
He has assured the people that he will continue to help and contribute to the constituency’s development and also complete all the projects he has started.
“I have realized that I’m loved by the people considering the number of votes I had, I won’t stop with the uncompleted projects I will make sure I complete all and even do more”, he promised.
