The Asuogyaman Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party in the Eastern Region, Dr. Akyea Darkwa has charged the Communications team of the party to be active and responsible to inform Ghanaians on the unprecedented achievements of the president Akufo-Addo led administration ahead of General elections this year.
According to him, Party members may know completed and ongoing projects across the country which he believed is unmatched to NDC’s eight years in administration but floating voters are not aware, however, there is the need to be active on Radio, Television, public places, and other social media platforms always to inform the people.
In a telephone interview with Kofi Atakora, mybrytfmonline reporter, Dr. Akyes Darkwa said: ” I am a politician and proud Christian but I won’t lie, NPP administration is performing very well and my constituency has benefited from national cake as well as others and that is attracting foreigners who are my friends in U.S.A. to come and invest in Ghana”.
Meanwhile, the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Honourable Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has charged Ministers and other political appointees in state Institutions as matter of urgency to release documents on projects undertaken for the past three years to party spokespersons.
According to him, messengers of the party who defend the Party daily on Radio and Television, as well as those who speak for the NPP in other social media platforms, must be given a list of projects undertaken from all Ministries and Agencies to inform Ghanaians.
He said, “We have seen what you are doing but if you think that all Ghanaians are aware and have seen, it’s a lie, please feed party defenders immediately to inform Ghanaians on achievements of NPP administration.
The MP added, ” please National Executives, I am urging you to go for the list now and share it to all party defenders to share it, as for me, I have seen and know what the transport ministry and others are doing”.
