The Eastern Regional Communication Director for the ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP, David Prah has relieved himself of duty in the party after Jeffrey Konadu whom he launched scathing attacks on won the Regional Chairmanship position.
Even though many political analysts believe David Prah is running away from his shadows, he, however, explains that he wants to concentrate on his new job as Deputy Director-General of TVET.
Meanwhile in a statement issued by David Prah on Sunday in which he described himself as outgone Eastern Regional Communication Director of NPP said “On behalf of Team Kwadwo Boateng Agyemang, Hon. Kiston Akomeng Kissi, Eastern Regional Communications Team, and Government Spokespersons, we wish to Congratulate Mr. Jeff Konadu and his Team of Executives who were elected yesterday to steer the affairs of the ruling New Patriotic Party in the Eastern Region.
We believe the Delegates have spoken and we respect that. We urge all the supporters of Mr. Kwadwo Boateng Agyemang and others who didn’t win to rally behind Mr. Jeff Konadu and his new Regional Executives of the Party to work hard to secure victory in 2024 to break the 8-year political cycle between NPP and the Wayome Group in favor of the NPP.
We wish all those who were not successful, better luck next time.

Let us continue to maintain the discipline in the Party and with a united front, we shall win the 2024 General Elections massively.
