Francis Addai-Nimoh has joined the flagbearership race of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
At a press conference on Wednesday morning, Mr. Addai-Nimoh said he will approach 2024 milestone with peace.
According to him, the NPP can win the 2024 elections only in peace and unity and urged all members to be careful of their utterances so as not to experience the 2008 internal wranglings that affected the party’s chances of wining of the presidential elections.
He has, however, called on party delegates to choose parliamentary candidates who are credible and able to help clinch the victory the NPP seeks for.
Meanwhile, Mr. Addai-Nimoh urged the Akufo-Addo led government to as matter of importance address the current economic crises to redeem Ghanaians and also foster hope in the NPP ahead of the 2024 general elections.
He emphasised that the NPP can win the presidential elections if only a unifier is voted to lead the party in order to help brake the ‘8’ agenda of the NPP.
He appealed to the rank and file of the NPP to support his agenda to ensure victory is achieved come 2024.
Francis Addai-Nimoh was part of contenders for the flagbearership position of the NPP prior to the 2020 general elections.
