Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto interacted with the Majority caucus in Parliament on Tuesday.
He shared with the group which h was previously part of, his vision for the party and Ghana in general when he become the Flagbearer and subsequently the President.
Dr. Afriyie Akoto told them his vision is largely hinged on Agriculture as the driving force to developing the other sectors of the economy.
He also told them about his vision to establish an Agricultural Management Team to be headed by the President.
This Team holds the key to prioritizing the allocation of public funds into key sectors of the economy to yield the maximum benefits that Ghanaians are craving for.
“My message was well received by the caucus who in turn assured me of their fullest support and wished me well” he stated.
He was was accompanied by my Campaign Manager and former Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the NPP, Alfred Boye, Co-Campaign Chairman and a former Volta Regional Chairman of the NPP, KEN-WUUD Nuworso, Campaign Coordinator, Peter Oteng Darko, and Campaign spokesperson, Dr. Prince Sodoke Amuzu.
He added “I am grateful to the Leadership of the Majority Caucus led by the Majority Leader, Hon. Osei Kyei- Mensah-Bonsu, his deputy, Hon. Alexander Afenyo Markin, the Majority Chief Whip, Hon. Frank Annoh Dompreh, First Deputy Majority Whip, Hon. Habib Iddrisu and Second Deputy Majority Whip, Hon. Lydia Seyram Alhassan, for making this meeting happen”.
He also expressed his sincerest appreciation to all members of the Majority Caucus who attended the meeting and made it a success.
