Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, the majority leader in parliament, has made predictions on what would probably happen at this Saturday’s New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primary, specifically with reference to Kennedy Ohene Agyapong’s performance.
“I will be surprised if Kennedy Agyapong gets even 20% in the presidential primaries,” the Suame Member of Parliament said about his colleague.
On M’abato, Akoma FM’s nightly political program, the leader of the Majority side in Parliament said, “Kennedy Agyapong would not even get 15% in the Ashanti Region.”
The seven-time parliamentarian asserts that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the best candidate to improve the economy because of his undeniable financial ability.
The ruling party will select a flagbearer for the general election of 2024 by selecting four candidates, a process anticipated to include over 200,000 delegates.
According to several surveys, the Vice President is leading by an enormous margin.
