National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Buem constituency in the Oti Region has described the performance of the Akufo-Addo led government as abysmal and that the party should do ‘House Hall’ instead of Town Hall meetings to reach more voters.
The former National Organiser of the main opposition NDC was of the notion that the government has failed in all promises made prior to the 2016 general elections, indicating Ghanaians will vote massively against the NPP to bring back former President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC.
Speaking on Okay FM morning show on Tuesday, 18th August 2020, Mr. Adams indicated that, the massive turn out in the just ended voter registration exercise is a sign of a change in the making as Ghanaians registered to have the opportunity to vote out the poor performing government.
He stressed most policies adopted by the current government are a plagiarised one of the opposition NDC which has even been poorly implemented.
On the issue of one district, one factory policy, he challenged the Secretariat on a purported factory built at Jasikan in the Buem constituency where he is contesting the seat.
Mr. Kofi Adams however, was optimistic he will win the seat and also increase the votes of the party’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama in the December 7 polls.
