Deputy Upper East Women Organizer for the National Democratic Congress(NDC), Grace Nkaw-Awini has said that the New Patriotic Party led by Akuffo Addo is the worst government in Ghana history.
Speaking at a ceremony to launch the campaign team in the Garu-Tempane constituency, Mrs Awini made it clear that Ghanaians are fed up with the NPP government because they have not been able to satisfy them with their promises made including the promise to stabilize the cedi.
According to her, Ghanaians are disappointed in the Akuffo-Addo led administration hence the party will work hard to ensure they win both the presidential and parliamentary polls for the next administration.
She indicates that the NPP has totally failed in the upcoming election because Ghanaians are crying for NDC to return into power to rescue them from the danger the NPP government has caused them.
“NPP promises to fight corruption, but they are the worst government we ever had in the history of Ghana as corruption is concerned,” she said.
Ghanaians participated massively in the registration exercise because they wanted to kick the NPP out of power.
Grace-Nkaw-Awini then urged NDC campaign team members to work hard in order to boost the party to win the 2020 polls.
