Flagbearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party Alan Kyeremanten has paid homage to the late lawmaker for Kumawu, Hon. Philip Basoah.
His comments comes few hours after reports of the death of the NPP MP.
He wrote:
I am deeply saddened by the untimely death of Hon. Philip Basoah, Member of Parliament for the Kumawu Constituency in the Ashanti Region.
The late Basoah was a selfless person who endeared himself to the service of humanity and the nation. He will be sorely missed for his enormous contribution to the party and the people of Kumawu.
My sincere condolences to his family, his constituents, colleagues in Parliament and the entire NPP family.
