Deputy Minority Leader, Patricia Appiagyei, has called on members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to prioritize unity ahead of the January 31 presidential primaries.
Speaking at the launch of the party’s amended constitution, Madam Appiagyei emphasized the need to celebrate diversity without fracturing unity, highlighting that there is more that unites the party than divides it.
She urged party elders, executives, and members to use their influence to promote collaboration and unity, noting that increased representation and voting rights for external branches underscore the value of every member’s contribution.
“Let’s focus on our mission to return the NPP to government and continue development. We need every member to play a part in fostering unity as we choose our leaders,” Hon. Appiagyei said, calling for discipline and maturity within the party.
