A forum has been held for two parliamentary candidates of the ruling NPP and Opposition NDC in Bibiani Anhwianso Bekwai in the Western Region to interface with the electorates to explain their Policies to enable them to make an informed decision on December 7.
The two parliamentary Candidates Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng and Stephen Donkor, both NPP and NDC respectively seized the opportunity to table their policies before the electorates.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate, Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng stated, he will ensure every child especially JHS pupil’s get access to benefit from the free SHS policy to reduce the illiteracy rate in the constituency.
He also mentioned that he will focus on a rubber plantation and establish a cowpea factory to boost the existing one district one factory initiatives and revive the local economy to create more jobs for the youth.
Alfred Obeng who is a former CEO of Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company (BOST) further said, he will institute a scholarship scheme to support needy but brilliant SHS and Technical school graduates to further their education in tertiary schools.
On his part, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate, Mr. Stephen Donkor said, he will focus on job creation, establish an organic fertilizer factory and also hint of sanitary pad factory to take care of Ghanaian women.
