National Democratic Congress Regional Communication Team Member, Tijani Issaka (Tjay), has teased the biggest opposition party as he calls them Nana’s People Party and not New Patriotic Party.
Speaking on Bryt Adekye Mu Nsem with Kwamina Sam Biney, Issaka argued that the NPP is no longer the original party, but rather a party controlled by Nana Akufo-Addo loyalists.
“The NPP we know now is not the New Patriotic Party but rather Nana’s People Party because all those at the higher levels are Nana’s people,” Mr. Issaka stated
Mr. Issaka emphasized that the party’s leadership is hijacked by individuals who prioritize loyalty to Nana over the party’s principles. “People are at the higher-level high jacking the party and the current NPP is not best fit because they don’t speak to power, they know the truth but will never say it,” he added.
The NDC member urged Ghanaians, especially the youth, to join the NDC instead, citing the NPP lack leadership and poor communication.
