The ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP, is set to open a political training school to promote its ideologies and train members of the party in political mobilization and good governance.
The school, according to the National Organizer of the party, Sammy Awuku, is scheduled for inauguration next month
“The party also intends opening its school (the NPP School) to serve as a platform where we can share ideas. The idea of the party establishing a school is to share ideas, talk among ourselves and learn new things of modern ways of managing a party, campaigning and also doing well as a Central right party. Hopefully, all things being equal we looking forward to the opening of the school next month” Sammy Awuku said during the inauguration of Constituency Officers welfare in Koforidua on Saturday, July 17, 2021.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is a center-right and liberal-conservative political party.
Since the fourth republic, it has been one of the two dominant parties in Ghanaian politics, with its leading rival being the center-left National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The NDC established the Ghana Institute of Social Democracy (GISD) in 2017 to train party comrades in other relevant programs related to politics, social democracy, and good governance.
