Kennedy Nyarko Osei, a member of parliament for Akyem Swedru and chairman of the New Patriotic Party’s Eastern Regional caucus, has advised candidates in the regional elections to act honorably.
He claims that in order to guaranty their annexation of power in the 2028 elections, the party will require everyone’s support following the polls.
As a result, they must refrain from disparaging and assaulting their rivals in the internal setting.
In a social media post, Kennedy Osei Nyarko said “As Chairman of the Eastern Regional Caucus of the NPP in Parliament, I want to wish all patriots in the region and other regions contesting various positions the best, on Saturday’s elections.
Let me also use this opportunity to caution and appeal to candidates to avoid attacking and maligning each other as the election day draws closer.
Sell your message and tell delegates why you should be voted into that particular position.
After this weekend’s election, we will need everyone on board to win the 2028 elections with Dr. Bawumia as our next President.
I am confident the New Patriotic Party will be the winner at the end of the regional elections. May God guide us and bless us all.
