The Chairman of the Planning Committee for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) National Delegates Conference, Joseph Osei Owusu, has announced that strict accreditation measures will be enforced during the upcoming event, which is expected to draw nearly 8,000 attendees.
Speaking to Citi News’ Hanson Agyemang on Thursday, July 17, Osei Owusu clarified that while close to 6,000 delegates have been officially accredited, the total number of people expected at the venue could reach 8,000.
“In all, delegate numbers are nearly 6,000, but we anticipate about 8,000 people on the grounds,” he said. “You may arrive at the precincts, but without accreditation, you will not be allowed entry. We will be very strict on that.”
He emphasized that only individuals with official accreditation from the party will be granted access to the conference grounds.
“We will be very strict on accreditation. You can only enter if you are accredited,” he stressed. “Let’s make that point very clear.”
