Nurses and midwives in Ghana will soon be seeing cruising in brand new Volks Wagon (VW) vehicles to work.
This is as a result of a memorandum of understanding signed by the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA), Calbank PLC as well as Universal Motors on April 9, 2021.
The luxurious private vehicles will be given to members on flexible installment payment terms.
“The leadership of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) wishes to inform all members of the Association that, it has arranged for brand new Volks Wagon (VW) vehicles for members to purchase through a flexible arrangement with CalBank PLC and Universal Motors
A flyer that contains an online link for the declaration of interest for the vehicles will be circulated from 5:00 pm today”
“Members are encouraged to fill the form which is online and submit.
The show of interest is the first and very important step in acquiring any of the vehicles so do not hesitate in filling the form”. A statement by GRNMA said.
The leadership of GRNMa led by its President Perpetual Ampofo in recent months launched a plot of land scheme for interested members to commence building their own houses.
Ultimately, GRNMA has fought for improvement in the condition of service for their members which became fruitful after a nationwide strike early this year.
These are parts of measures by the leadership to motivate Nurses and midwives to enjoy their sweat in delivering healthcare despite the various challenges in health facilities.
