The Upper East Regional Director of the Ghana Education Service (GES), Mr Edward Azure has advised candidates in this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) to obey instructions and come out with flying colours.
Mr Azure advised them to carefully read through the examination questions, understand and answer them appropriately.
Speaking to the BECE candidates in the Bolgatanga Municipality, Mr Azure charged the candidates to change the poor BECE results recorded over the years in the municipality.
The GES Director also cautioned them that “If you cheat during the exams, you will have your results cancelled. So obey the instructions and come out the best, and we will be proud of you.”
The Bolgatanga Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Mr Rex Asanga also addressed the candidates, wished them the best of luck and said “We are expecting so much from you people.”
Mr Rex Asanga encouraged the candidates to perform creditably so that they would enjoy the benefits of the Free Senior High School policy, “So try your best and don’t indulge in any examination malpractices.”
