Mobile Telecommunication Network (MTN) Ghana has presented a cheque of GH¢10,000.00, airtime worth GH¢1000.00 and a hamper to Asamankese Traditional Council towards the celebration of Obourdwan Festival in the Eastern Region.
Senior Manager for Southwest-MTN Ghana, Prince Owusu Nyarko who led the team said this is the company’s second time of Supporting Obourdwan Festival in Asamankese and added that, they also donated some T-shirt for Health work which forms part of activities for the festival.
According to him, MTN has donated similar items to about 40 Traditional Councils festival so far which includes Afenorto,Ada Asafotufiami, Apor,Homowo,Bakatue,
Kundum festival and many others.
He said MTN Ghana is committed to bridge the digital divide, furthering financial inclusion and advancing the attainment of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through our core business activities and our support to governments, communities and customers.
