A mechanic at Kodjornya suburb of Odumase Krobo in the Lower Manya Municipality escaped death after a falling tree crushed his shop.
The incident was caused by a violent rainstorm that hit the community Thursday evening around 5:00pm.
The Mechanic identified as Master Ansah sensing danger during the rainstorm attempted to move the cars to safety from the shop but the tree suddenly crashed on the cars damaging at least two while in one of the cars about to spark.
The Mechanic, fortunately, escaped unhurt.
The damaged cars include a Taxi with registration number GW 4340-12 and an Alpha Romeo Saloon car with registration number GW 521-12.
Officials of Ghana Police Service and the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) have visited the scene.
