An Executive Council member of the Ghana Football Association, Oduro Sarfo has poured cold water on the remuneration package for Executive Council members and President of the association.
The Ad-hoc Compensation Committee of the GFA proposed GH12, 000 monthly allowances for the President of the association, GH7, 000 for the Vice President and GH4, 000 for the other 10 EXCO members.
The proposal package was approved at the Congress held at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence, Prampram although there were criticisms about the percentage of increment.
Reacting to the approved allowances for the Exco, Oduro Sarfo said, “GH12, 000 is no money. Kotoko pays his CEO GH25, 000 which is bigger than the President. So can’t you see the desperations? On record Hearts of Oak pay GH15, 000, who are working” he quizzed.
