The Ghana Police says it has arrested one person in possession of weapon at the the St Theresa School polling station in the Okaikoi South constituency of the Greater Accra Region on election day.
According to the police, suspect, Micheal Allotey is currently in custody assisting in the police investigation.
Michael’s intention of possessing the weapon on a crucial election day and at a polling centre in this era of a tightened security is still unknown as police proceed with investigations to unravel the facts.
