The District Chief Executive for Okere Daniel Kenneth is leading a strategic house to house Campaign in the Okere constituency ahead of the December 7 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
The Campaign is in line with plans to maximize the votes of the ruling New Patriotic Party in the election.
“This afternoon I shall lead the team of NPP campaigners into your homes, shops, and Offices to remind you of the reasons why we should renew the mandate of H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as president and Hon. Daniel Botwe as our MP. We are seeking your mandate to continue in all fairness the great achievements in Okere as well as Ghana as a whole. One good deed deserves another term” He said in a statement.
Meanwhile, the Eastern Regional Secretariat of the ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP, has declared Friday, October 30, 2020, as “Elephant Day”
The day has been set aside as part of the campaign strategy of the NPP to garner an unprecedented percentage of votes and win at least 31 out of the 33 Parliamentary seats in the Eastern Region.
According to the Eastern Regional Youth Organizer of the NPP, Jerry Osei -Opoku, on Friday all NPP supporters will put on NPP branded shirts and apparel to flood the streets, hoist flags of the party, post pictures and stickers of the party across all constituencies in the region.
Jerry Osei -Opoku stated further that, the NPP is on course to victory on the wheels of implementation of better policy interventions such as free Senior High School, planting for food and Jobs, One district one factory, major road infrastructure among others.
