Okuapehene Oseadeyo Kwasi Akuffo III is set to commence a familiarisation tour to all five divisions in the traditional area.
The five divisions making up the Okuapeman State are Nifa, Benkum, Gyase, Adonten and Kronti.
According to the Chief of Staff at Ofori Kuma Palace, Mr. George Addo Yobo, the tour will begin on 9th of March from the Nifa division and ends on 15 March 2023.
Apart from focus on cementing allegiance of the division to the stool and fostering unity, Okuapehene will also engage stakeholders on matters of education, health and sanitation,unemployment and explore tourism potentials to drive the necessary traffic from the investment community.
Okuapehene was gazzetted in October 2022, sworn-in and inducted in a colourful traditional ceremony held during the General Meeting of the Eastern Regional House of Chiefs Thursday, 20th October 2022 in Koforidua.
Okuapehene Oseadeeyo Kwasi Akuffo III, was sworn into the house of chiefs together with Omanhene of New Juaben Traditional Area Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III, and Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III, the Paramount Chief of Akwamu Traditional Area.
