Second Tier side Okyeman Planners defeated Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak by a lone goal in a preseason friendly game at the All Nations University Park on Wednesday.
Seth Kuma’s solo strike in the first department of the game was enough for the Tafo based club to snatch victory over the Phobians.
The division two sides had to play the second half with ten men after receiving marching off orders from the referee.
With Kim Grant parading a formidable side against the second-tier team failed to share spoils in a much intense game.
Hearts of Oak had an improved game in the second half but failed to level the pegging.
Youngster Manaf Umar was delighted to watch as he came close with an equalizer, thanks to the Okyeman Planners goalkeeper who carried the ball away.
The game is serving as preparatory grounds for both clubs as they geared towards the new season which commences December 27.
