An old woman who is believed to be in her late 90’s has been beaten to death after a claim from a soothsayer that she was a witch.
This cruel murder occurred at Kafaba in the East Gonja Municipality of the Savannah Region.
The disturbing video was posted on TV3 Ghana’s Facebook page revealed how the woman was killed, she was pushed down and beaten mercilessly by one of the women.
This barbaric incident took place after a soothsayer claimed that the woman was among the witches responsible for the joblessness of the youth in the village.
The old woman indeed suffered a horrible fate in the hands of a lady who slapped, whipped and hit her head with a heavy item, with the community members cheering them on.
Most people who have come across the displeasing video have been provoked by the actions of the young women responsible for the death of the old woman and are calling for justice for the old woman.
