Accra, Ghana – President John Dramani Mahama has officially submitted the third batch of ministerial nominations to Parliament for approval. The announcement, made on Friday, January 17, 2025, includes ten individuals selected to serve as Regional and Sector Ministers. The nominees and their respective ministries are as follows:

Among the nominees, Hon. Abdul-Rashid Pelpuo stands out as a seasoned development and policy expert with over 20 years of experience. Representing the Wa Central Constituency in Parliament, Dr. Pelpuo holds a Ph.D. in Development Policy and has made significant contributions in youth empowerment and financial management. He previously served in leadership roles such as Director of the National Youth Council and Deputy Coordinator for Finance.
The nominations, sent to Parliament through the Speaker, are part of President Mahama’s commitment to assembling a competent team to drive the nation’s development agenda.
