The chief of Oyoko in the New Juaben traditional area, Nana Osei Bonsu Sempeh II is appealing to the government to compensate some farmers who gave out their farmlands to government to establish the Oyoko Methodist SHS in the late 80’s.
These farmers, according to the chief, sometime in the late 80’s gave their cocoa farmlands to the government of Ghana, when government needed to have land to establish the school.

He is, therefore, calling on the government to as a matter of need, compensate the farmers for forgoing their cash crops and subsequently releasing their lands to government.
Nana Osei Bonsu Sempeh II made the appeal through the member of parliament for the New Juaben North Constituency- Nana Adjei Boateng and the Municipal chief executive, Hon Dr. Asante Antwi at a durbar to climax the celebration of the 35th speech and prize giving day Anniversary of the Oyoko Methodist Senior High school in Oyoko.
