Ghana has banned travellers from Malta with effect from Monday, 20th December 2021, according to Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration ministry.
In a press release, the ministry again emphasised that the Government of Ghana does not recognise any COVID-19 vaccine certificate from Malta.
According to the statement, the directive is part of measures put in place to prevent the spread of the omicron virus.
