Member of Parliament for Akuapem North, Sammi Awuku, has accused the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) of failing to deliver on the majority of its commitments to Ghanaians.
Speaking on Asaasepa FM, the lawmaker asserted that the NDC government achieved just 38 percent of the 112 programs and initiatives it pledged to implement across various sectors of the economy by the close of 2025.
“The NDC government fulfilled just 38 percent, only 43 were done, of their 112 commitments in various sectors of our economy, which was made up of 112 programs and initiatives by the end of 2025,” he stated.
According to him, out of the 112 outlined commitments, only 43 were fully completed. He further disclosed that 41 projects are still in progress, while 28 have not been started at all.
“Forty-one still remain in progress, and 28 remain untouched,” Awuku added.
He stressed that the figures point to a significant implementation gap, arguing that the government’s performance falls short of the expectations it set for the electorate.
Awuku reiterated that delivering just 38 percent of promised initiatives raises serious questions about the administration’s ability to translate its pledges into tangible results, emphasizing what he described as a clear disparity between promises made to Ghanaians and actual accomplishments.
