Relationship and marriage counsellor, Uncle Ebo Whyte has said that only good wives allow their husbands to take care of their parents.
Speaking in an interview, Uncle Ebo lectured that men who keep on checking on their mother or parents are the good wife’s who prompt their husbands to do so.
According to him, it doesn’t happen in this era for men to ask about their parents frequently or allow their parents to pay them a visit due to the selfishness of some women.
“Only a few women push their husbands to check on their parents even when the man is not willing to do so,” he said.
The altruism of a man depends on the thoughtfulness of his wife therefore parents-in-law should treat their daughter-in-law as a queen if the son cares for them.
“When you have a son who calls to check on you. It is because he has a good wife who is prompting him to check on you. ‘Have you called to check on your father?’, ‘Have you heard from your father this year?”
