Bankroller of Kumasi King Faisal, Alhaji Grusah has unveiled that, the late Opoku Afriyie is nonpareil and will forever remain grateful to the late football striker.
Recounting the selfless act of Opoku Afriyie, Alhaji disclosed that, the late football star wasn’t greedy but instead honest, God-fearing and even gave him money countless times and was willing to do more for him.
“Opoku Afriyie is one of the few footballers I trained. He took me like a father, respected and made sure he delivers when the need be. I am glad we were in good terms before he passed on. We never had any misunderstanding as a player or as a friend. His honesty took him far unlike some of these current footballers are disrespectful and greedy.” He averred.
He adds that, if all players were kind and respectful like Opoku Afriyie the football fraternity would be a heaven on earth.
