A devastating rainstorm that occurred May 18, 2020, in Fanteakwa South District of the Eastern Region has ripped off at least twenty-three (23) houses.
Almost two hundred residents have been displaced as a result of the devastating rainstorm.
The incidents were recorded in Osino, Juaso, and Saamang communities.
Also affected is Osino Health Center which had the Consulting room, Dispensary room, and Accounts office ripped off.
Many properties including television sets, refrigerators, and other household items were destroyed.
Officials of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) have visited the affected areas for assessment to facilitate the provision of relief items.
