Otto Addo blamed his side’s defensive performance in the latter moments of the game for the draw against Niger:
“I am not satisfied at all. I am really disappointed, to be honest. We talked and trained on set pieces, we discussed situations that could happen, but the way we defended in the last 10 minutes was really, really bad.”
“ I think in general we had the game under control. We allowed some counter situations where we didn’t close the gaps well, but once we got the lead, I thought things would get easier” Otto Addo emphasized.
The Black Stars drew 1-1 with Niger in the ongoing AFCON qualification on Monday after a late equalisation.
