His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu’s Akyiamehene, Baffour Kantankrakyi, has commended the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr George Akuffo Dampare for his hard work in curbing robbery and rampant killings in the country.
Akyiamehene Baffour Kantankrakyi called on the Ghana Police to collaborate with the IGP to maintain peace and order in the country.
On Dr George Akuffo Dampare visit to Otumfuo’s palace, Otumfuo Osei Tutu ll Otumfuo spokesperson expressed that Ghanaians were lucky when the terrorist cases arose in the country, adding that all nearby countries have experience situations.
He also charged Dr George Akuffo Dampare to get rid of all unlicensed guns trooping to the country and to work hard to curb the robbery and rampant killing of Ghanaians.
“You must put measures in place to end the importation of unlicensed guns in the country,’’ Otumfuo Osei Tutu ll told Dr George Akuffo Dampare during his visit.

Dr George Akuffo Dampare on his behalf also assured Otumfuo Osei Tutu ll that he is prepared to work harder than his predecessors to achieve more success by maintaining peace and security in the country.
