The Chief Executive Officer of Educate Africa Institute, Mr Williams Boadi, has stated that the education system is not supporting the youths in the country.
To him, the education system should be practical to help eradicate unemployment challenges encountering the country.
Mr Boadi suggested that the education system must help to discover talent and gifts given by God.
“I don’t support those student aggregates and percentages presented by the West African Examination Council (WAEC),’’ he disclosed.
On Thursday’s edition of Dadi Fm morning show “Efa Wo Ho” with host Abena Opokua Ahwenee, Mr Boadi affirmed that he is not much interested in the results released by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).
Mr Boadi expressed that many students have completed Senior High School doing nothing after their completion adding that the government should create jobs for students after subjects they have studied at the secondary level.
Mr Boadi however stated that the government is not making any effort to solve the unemployment challenges in the country.
Adding that the annual statistics percentages and grades projected by WAEC will not end the unemployment challenges.
Mr Boadi also specified that a footballer does not need a degree before becoming a footballer.
“We have urged the government to recommend a practical education system to secondary schools to improve the higher standard technical level in the country,’’ said Mr Boadi.
