Athletic Bilbao forward Inaki Williams says his outfit objective is to secure qualification to play in Europe next season.
His comment comes after rescuing his outfit from defeat against Girona in the Spanish La Liga clash on Monday1.
Girona, the host opened the scoring through Viktor Tsygankov in the 55th minute mark before the Black Stars attacker leveled the pegging in the 67th minute with a sublimed finish.
Speaking after the game, Williams said, “We were visiting a very difficult team and the team played a great game.”
“Athletic Club fans have to feel proud. This is the way to follow as we look at the European positions, it is our objective.” He said after the game.
Williams has scored six goals and provided three assists from 14 appearances in the La Liga this season.
Bilbao are fifth and are pushing hard to secure European football next season.
