President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo addressing the Nation in his last term as president of Ghana revealed that he is pleased to report that his government undertaking to bring peace to Dagbon has been successful.
He said working to ensure peace in Dagbon and being enskinned ‘Dagbon Malti-Naa Abudani’ are some of his favorite highlights from his first term in office
“I recall the joy and satisfaction I felt on the day that I attended the enskinment of the Yaa-Na at Yendi,” he said.
He said a generation of people grew up only knowing Dagbon to be a troubled area with no peace. He adds that their efforts bore fruit, a historic settlement was reached and peace has been restored in Dagbon.
