A giant advertising billboard erected on top of the building of the New Juaben South Municipal office of the National Health Insurance Authority has blocked the satellite signal connected to the computers used to registering and renewing new membership cards for their clients.
The situation has left more than 200 persons stranded at the forecourt of the NHIA office because of the unavailability of the satellite signal to enable staff of the facility to render services to their cherished customers.
The situation has persisted for more than four days but several complaints by the authorities NHIA to the New Juaben South municipal assembly come and remove the billboard to enable them to serve their clients have since fallen on their death ears.
Yesterday when mybrytfmonline.com visited the NHIA office, some aggrieved clients said they have been wasting their time and care fare to renew or get registered on to the scheme but anytime they come, authorities of the facility tell them the machine is not working.
A follow up to the New Juaben South Municipal Engineering department confirmed they have been informed yesterday about the challenge.
Meanwhile, the office said the removal of the billboard needs to go through a process hence have started talking to those involved assuring that probably by close of work today the menace shall be rectified.
Rhetorically, one may ask what process should it take the NJSMA to order the removal of the billboard which has blocked the satellite of a state office hindering its operation?.
