The number of registered voters expected to vote in the Presidential and Parliamentary elections in the Suhum Constituency of the Eastern Region today is 70,451.
According to the Electoral Commission, Voters will exercise their Franchise in 159 Polling stations.
Honorable Frederick Opare Ansah who won the seat on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party in 2004 was defeated by Mr. Kwadjo Asante Obuafour in an internal election in early 2020.
Mr. Kwadjo Asante Obuafour, a 43-year-old Businessman who is new in the race is being contested by Amanda Okyere Kwatia, a 28-year-old Flight Attendant who is also new in the race.
