Mr A. O Osei Yaw, the former Ashanti regional chairman of the Convention People’s Party, believes that it is outdated to send long government delegations to areas with by-elections to secure votes.
He believes the NPP government could have conveyed a message to the people of Assin North and beyond if they had cared, and he is ashamed of their disgraceful conduct..
Mr Osei Yaw has, however, called on the people of Assin North to vote against the Npp government in the upcoming by elections for failing to develop the area, but rushing them for votes.
“Why can’t you give development to the people who voted for your party to come to government but rushing them now because you want to win the so called by elections? This is typical childish. I would have voted against the NPP should have I come from Assin North area,” he added.
“It’s about time we show these political peppers, because they seem to take we the citizenry for granted”.
