Mr Ebo Appiah, the spokesperson for Tema Youth FC owner, Wilfried Kweku Osei ‘Palmer’ they are not perturbed about the ruling from the Court of Arbitration for Sports(CAS) that goes in favour of the Ghana Football Association(GFA) and for that matter, he (Palmer) will continue to run his football club.
The long legal tussle between Mr Wilfried Osei Kweku Palmer (plaintiff) and the Ghana Football Association came to an end as CAS ruled that the decision of the GFA Elections Committee to disqualify Osei Palmer from the 2019 GFA Election is valid.
However, a chunk of Ghanaians has cast some doubt about Palmer as to whether he will continue with football or administration or not.
But his spokesperson in an interview with Kwaku Sarpong Sarkodie of Bryt FM indicated that the CAS verdict will not force Palmer to quit football.
“Palmer has developed a lot of stars for the country such as Thomas Partey, Mathew Amoah, Michael Essien, Attamah Larweh, Joseph Paintsil, Don Bortey and others so if all he can do is to produce world stars for the country that’s fine”
“Is that not fulfilling enough for him having produced all these great players? If all he can do is to groom boys to impact their lives so be it and it even makes him happier than anything else”
“No one can take his club from him so he continues to build Tema Youth to the global brand.”
